Call for Workshops

The Call for Workshops period is over, if you want to submit a paper to an ACMMM Workshop, please check out the list of accepted workshops.

ACM Multimedia is the premier international conference in the area of multimedia within the field of computer science. The 2025 ACM Multimedia Conference takes place in Dublin, Ireland, from 27 October – 31 October 2025. Multimedia research focuses on technologies that enable the use and exchange of content integrating the multiple perspectives of different digital modalities, including images, text, video, audio, speech, music, and sensor data.

We are now soliciting proposals for workshops to be held in conjunction with ACM Multimedia 2025. The purpose of the workshops is to provide a comprehensive forum on current and emerging topics that will not be fully explored during the main conference and to encourage in-depth discussion of technical and application issues. Workshop proposals will be reviewed by the workshop co-chairs and decisions on acceptance will be taken by the co-chairs in consultation with the TPC and general co-chairs. In some cases, if multiple workshop submissions are

For accepted workshops, the organisers will be expected to configure a submission and review system and make decisions on the content of their workshops. The ACM MM 2025 organisers will provide details of all workshops to ACM for publishing and each workshop will be published by ACM in its own proceedings.

We will be facilitating workshops that range from quarter-day to full-day events. All workshops will be provided with an AV-equipped room, coffee/tea breaks and refreshments. For any additional requirements, please add details to the proposal.
