Student Travel Supports

ACM SIGMM and the ACM MM 2025 organising committee will be offering travel grants for students who will be attending the conference in person..

SIGMM has centralised support for standard student travel for in-person participation. Any student member of SIGMM is eligible to apply (join SIGMM here), however, the students who are the first author of an accepted paper (in any track/workshop) are particularly encouraged to apply. The grants can cover any travel expenses such as airfare/shuttle, hotel, and meals.

I addition to being a SIGMM member, the applicant must be enrolled in a university at the time of the application submission.

Selection Criteria:
Students being the primary authors of an accepted paper in the main conference or workshops will be given preference in the selection process.

Students without papers accepted for publication at ACM MM 2025 and related workshops, but involved in research closely related to the topics of ACM MM Multimedia and related workshops can also be considered.

Female and minority students’ applications are especially encouraged.

Application Procedure:
Applications will be reviewed right after the deadline and the applicants will be notified from SIG MM in due time.

  • Application open: 04 July 2025
  • Application deadline: 17 August 2025

The application link will be updated closer to the opening date.
